A sessão de apresentação do portal digital da ilha de São Jorge teve lugar no Dia do Triângulo da XXVIII Semana Cultural das Velas, 3 de Julho, no Salão Nobre da Câmara Municipal das Velas e contou com a presença dos presidentes de câmara dos seis municípios do Triângulo.

Luís Silveira, Presidente da C. M. das Velas, abriu a sessão, Simas Santos fez a apresentação da marca "Triangle The Azores | An island cluster" e do Portal de São Jorge, onde a Fonte Travel reune e disponibiliza a oferta turística da ilha (alojamento, viagens de avião e carro, actividades, rent-a-car, restaurantes, pontos de interesse, etc.).

A Fonte Travel agradece aos seus parceiros de São Jorge a iniciativa, disponibilidade e interesse em colaborarem neste projecto de promoção e venda das ilhas do Triângulo.

De seguida foi inaugurado o quiosque das ilhas do Triângulo e brindou-se ao sucesso futuro.

The Sao Jorge Island website presentation session took place on the Triangle Day of XXVIII Cultural Week of Velas, July 3, in the Main Hall of the Municipality and was attended by the mayors of the six Triangle Islands.

Luis Silveira, mayor ofVelas, opened the session, Simas Santos made the presentation of the brand "The Triangle Azores | An island cluster" and Sao Jorge The Azores website, where Fonte Travel gathers and provides the tourist offer of the island (accommodation , plane and car trips, activities, rent-a-car, restaurants, points of interest, etc.).

Estatísticas das Ilhas do Triângulo, Açores | Dormidas 2015

As ilhas do Triângulo (Faial, Pico e São Jorge) registaram 7863 dormidas em Março de 2015. Em comparação com as 5339 dormidas de Março de 2014, conclui-se que houve um aumento de 2524 dormidas nas três ilhas, o que em termos percentuais corresponde a mais 47,3%.

De Janeiro a Março de 2015 registaram-se 16861 dormidas, contra as 12965 dormidas de Janeiro a Março de 2014. Houve um aumento de 3896 dormidas, o que corresponde a mais 30,1 %.

Resumindo, as ilhas do Triângulo registaram:

- Em Março 2015: mais 2524 dormidas (aumento de 47,3%).

- Em Janeiro, Fevereiro e Março 2015: mais 3896 dormidas (aumento de 30,1%).

Triangle Islands | Stats March 2015

The Triangle Islands (Faial, Pico and São Jorge) registered 7863 overnight stays in March 2015. Compared to 5339 overnight stays March 2014, we may conclude that there was a 2524 overnight stays increase in the three islands, which in percentage terms corresponds to 47.3%.

January to March 2015 were registered 16861 overnight stays, against 12965 overnight stays from January to March 2014. There was an increase of 3896 overnight stays, which represents 30.1% more.

In short, the Triangle Islands registered:

- In March 2015: more 2524 overnight stays (increase of 47.3%).

- In January, February and March 2015: more 3896 overnight stays (more 30.1%).
