Brevemente aeroporto do Pico irá garantir segurança com o ILS (Instrument Landing System). Pelo que em caso de pouca visibilidade da pista (nevoeiro, chuva ou neve) aquando aproximação da pista garantirá uma aterragem segura.
Mais uma aposta que confirma a grandeza da ilha Montanha visto que será o 3º aeroporto do arquipélago a permitir aterragem com ILS, e o único nas Ilhas do Triângulo.

Pico's airport will soon ensure safety with ILS (Instrument Landing System). So in case of poor visibility of the track (fog, rain or snow) when approaching the runway the ILS will ensure a safe landing.
One more bet that confirms the greatness of the island since it will be the 3rd airport in the archipelago to allow landing with ILS, and the only one in the Islands of the Triangle.
