Nos dias 9 e 10 de Abril, decorreu no Auditório do Museu dos Baleeiros, na Lajes do Pico, o Fórum Açoriano Franklin D. Roosevelt com o tema "Açores e EUA: Estratégias de Desenvolvimento Sustentável", organizado pela Fundação Luso-Americana. Discutiu-se multi-disciplinar e transversalmente a agenda transatlântica actual e os principais desafios para o desenvolvimento sustentado nas áreas do mar e seus recursos, agricultura e turismo no âmbito da TTIP (Transatlantic Trade and Investment Partnership).
IV Franklin D. Roosevelt Azorean Forum at Pico Island - I
On the 9th and 10th April the Auditorium of the Whaling Museum in Lajes do Pico, welcomed the IV Franklin D. Roosevelt Azorean Forum. The theme of this event was "Azores and USA: Sustainable Development Strategies", organized by the Luso-American Foundation.
During two days, was discussed in a multi-disciplinary and transversal way the current transatlantic agenda and the main challenges for sustainable development in the areas of the sea and its resources, agriculture and tourism within the TTIP (Transatlantic Trade and Investment Partnership).
